Friday in Vail

When Rhett, Raly, Reese, Bozeman and I got to Vail early on Friday afternoon, the kids took a short nap and then we headed to Lionshead to go up the gondola. Bozeman didn't know what to think about it, so Rhett ended up carrying him on and off. This picture is at the top of the mountain. Between his shoes and his long tongue, he got a lot of attention.
Raly jumped on the trampoline again. She got going a little too high and was worried she was going to flip over. I was proud of her for waiting in line for nearly 45 minutes.
Reese and Raly enjoy the Dino Dig area. That is, until Reese started throwing the sand!
Riding down on the gondola. Reese and Raly loved the ride.
When we got the bottom, we stopped at a restaurant for some pizza. We were able to sit outside with Bozeman while he received some special attention from some kids.
While Rhett and I drank our adult beverages, the kids ran AROUND the puddles. Yes, you read it correctly, even Reese ran around the puddles. As we were paying our bill, I asked our waiter about the condos and the penthouses in the Lionshead area. He said that the penthouses were selling for between 10-15 million. Rhett and I thought we'd purchase two or three! :)
