Shrek 3

Friday night we met Adam and the boys at the theater. It was Raly and Reese's first 3D movie. They really enjoyed the movie! A couple of times, I looked down the row and Raly and Owen would be reaching out trying to touch the things on the screen. Too funny! Yes, Reese wore his glasses that way through the entire movie.

Now that's a bubble bath!

Enough bubbles, never! After their swim, this kids asked Grandma for a bubble bath and they got an endless supply of bubbles. So fun!

Pool Fun

Rhett swam with the kids at Linder's pool on Friday, June 11th. The kids had a good time, but after a long bike ride earlier in the day, Rhett tired quickly.

Great Grandma and Grandad Visit

A Great Place to Ride

Grandma and Grandad have a great driveway for bike and scooter riding.

Convertible Ride

When we got to town, Raly wanted to go for a ride in the convertible. They drove to Clark and Christy's and back. What fun!

Protect the Head

Reese loves to hit Grandad on the head, so Grandad greeted Reese prepared for a beating!

Fishing at Scott Carlson's Pond

On June 6th, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Josh, Raly, Reese and I went fishing at a trout stocked pond. Auntie Em rested at Mom and Dad's house while we fished for the afternoon. Thank goodness we had an expert fisherman with us. Uncle Josh was a big help! Reese loved holding the fishing pole, but as soon as a fish was hooked, he ran away!
Raly, on the other hand, loved the entire fishing experience!

Uncle Josh told Reese that he had to take one picture with the fish and this was as close as he would get. Raly tried comforting her scared little brother!

Raly even liked handling the worms!

Raly wanted to take a picture with each fish!

Back home for a fish grill!

Screaming Contest!

I kept telling them to be quiet while inside, so when they got outside, it was a contest for who could scream the loudest.

Professional Pictures from Ms. Debbie

Ms. Debbie (the kids' babysitter when they were younger) took pictures of the kids. Here are a few of my favorites.

Raly's ChumpBite

Raly and Edith (a.k.a. Grandma) opened a restaurant this morning: Raly's ChumpBite. The restaurant has a comfortable waiting area and extremely special placemats made by the owner. Kids even leave with a free toy. What a deal!

Pictured below: The owner/boss creating her special placemats.

Slip n' Slide

On Saturday evening, the kids chose to play on the water slide. They had a blast! Todd was a little confused at first.
Each time they started out, they yelled, "Watch out below!"

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad

Mom and Dad celebrated their 39th Anniversary on June 5th. The kids and I whipped up a quick cake to help celebrate! Next year, we will have to do something a little more special than a Betty Crocker boxed cake!

Hiding the Ball

For dinner, we ate at Pizza Hut and the kids talked Grandma into quarters for the trinket toy machines. They ended up with sticky hands and bouncy balls. When we got home, they played "Hide the Bouncy Ball." In this picture, Raly is asking Grandpa to hide the bouncy ball in the tree (from Grandma) and Reese hid Todd's toy in the tree. Poor Todd. Raly hanging out with Grandpa. (Raly got her haircut from Angie Green when we got into town on Thursday).
